I’m from New Orleans, Louisiana I've been cutting for 3 1/2 years now. What got me into barbering was the creativity of the industry. It wasn’t something that I thought would have been my first choice but my mom brought it up. When I didn’t get accepted into LSU, I thought about doing hair as a backup plan just in case and it worked out. My mom was a hairstylist and she never forced us into the hair industry. Since I was already a art major that’s what made me get into it as well, because a haircut is art too if we really think about it. Once I started into school for barbering I felt like I didnt want to go back to college because I fell so in love with the industry.
